Seminar description:
A healthy, productive university environment requires respectful and appreciative interaction with each other. What sometimes looks like a normal flirtation can quickly turn into an unpleasant, distressing behavior. Both verbal and nonverbal forms of sexual harassment are often played down or receive little attention. The seminar teaches methods to effectively demarcate and protect oneself in unpleasant and threatening situations in everyday university life.
Seminar contents:
- Forms of sexual harassment
- Prevention, and de-escalation strategies
- Identify and name harassment
- Behavioral and action option
- Providing legal background information
- Showing offers of help
