It is one of CASA’s major goals to connect fundamental research results with real-world applications. The Lab will fulfill the following important functions:

  • Real-World Feedback: The Lab will provide feedback regarding the ability to adopt research results in practical systems.
  • Real-World Adoption: The Lab aims to test CASA research results and technologies with regard to later adoption and possible commercialization in practical systems. Therefore, various transfer projects with partners from industry are carried out within our Cluster of Excellence.
  • Integration of Usability Aspects: The Lab will provide an ideal environment for an evaluation of usability aspects of the scientific solutions developed in CASA.
