In her function as new speaker, Angela Sasse replaces her research colleague Thorsten Holz after his move to CISPA. Christof Paar and Eike Kiltz continue to be part of the speaker team.
Angela Sasse has been head of the Human-Centred Security Chair at the Horst Görtz Institute for IT Security at RUB since 2018. In her research, she emphasizes the relevance of users in the context of IT security. She is also Hub Leader of the CASA Research Hub D "Usability", which aims to integrate human behavior into technical security research.
Thorsten Holz will remain with the CASA Cluster of Excellence as PI.
