At a Glance
When: April 20, starting at 3 PM (admission: starting at 2:30 PM); official program until 4 PM, afterwards get-together, snacks and exploring the artwork. The event will end around 6:30 PM.
What: Opening of the artwork by Ralf Baecker. The short programme will consist of talks by RUB-Chancellor Christina Reinhardt, CASA speaker Eike Kiltz and artist Ralf Baecker. Short guided tours will be offered afterwards.
Where: In the Open Space, building MC, campus of the Ruhr Universität Bochum (RUB). The address is: Universitätsstraße 140, 44799 Bochum (Google Maps / Campus map). There are two entrances to the MC building. Please use the entrance from the direction of Weststraße, recognizable by the sun shade.
Childcare: If you are interested in the possibility of childcare during the event, please indicate this when registering.
Language: The talks will be held mainly in English. Guided tours are also offered in German.
Parking: The parking garages P12 and P13 are open (see map). To reach both parking garages, take the exit "Uni-West" from Universitätsstraße and turn into Max-Imdahl-Straße at the traffic circle at the first (coming from the city) or second (coming from the A43) turn, which leads directly to both parking garages. The event will take place in the MC building, not far from the parking garages; a large sail is set above the building's main entrance.
