Corona has changed the daily work routine in research. Parents with young children in particular face a challenge.
CASA-PI Nikol Rummel talks in a current article in "Forschung und Lehre" about challenges within the research work in times of the corona epidemic. "Writing proposal and revising publications - this requires concentrated working time. You can't do that between the sheets," explains the Professor of Educational Psychology.
In the article, she also talks about the difficulties in meeting application deadlines under the given circumstances and the resulting consequences, especially for female researchers.
