What is it about?
In order to protect web applications from hackers, one should know their attack techniques. In this workshop, the participants therefore slip into the attacker role and become hackers. During two intensive days at the Max Planck Institute for Privacy and Security in Bochum, they will learn how vulnerabilities in web applications are created and how they can be exploited.

Who can participate?
The workshop is aimed at young women between the ages of 15 and 25, with an interest in computer science and web technology and a curiosity for cyber security. There are 25 places available.

How does the participation work?
Participants should first join the Discord server to be kept up to date and to connect with the other participants. In order to get a place in the workshop, they will then have to solve three challenges. More information about the challenges can be found here: https://creativeminds.ruhr/

Who is organizing the workshop?
The organizers are a group of students, PhD students, professors and professionals working and researching in the field of cyber security. The main contact persons for the workshop are Veelasha Moonsamy and Karla Markert.
