On November 19 and 20, 2019, the 14th interdisciplinary symposium of the working group Identity Protection on the Internet (a-i3) in cooperation with the Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) will take place at the Ruhr-Universität Bochum under the theme Security for Identities and Enterprises in Industry 4.0.
The digital networking of commercial enterprises is progressing. In the world of industry 4.0, machines communicate via contracts, contract execution and complaints. The presentations at this year's symposium will show ways of structuring and safeguarding this development both technically and legally:
- Blockchain and Smart Contracts
- Digital Signatures
- Legal certainty in industry 4.0
- IT security in industry 4.0
The symposium will conclude with a panel discussion.
