October is European Cyber Security Month

October is a very special month for IT security, as the EU-wide campaign "European Cyber Security Month" (ECSM) takes place here. The project wants to raise the public awareness for Cyber Security. It will include various events and activities on the topic, including webinars, online campaigns and lectures open to the public. We recommend that you take a glance at the campaign homepage, where you will find all information about the campaign and the activities listed.

The Horst Görtz Institute for IT Security also participates in the campaign with the Cluster of Excellence CASA "Cyber Security in the Age of Large-Scale Adversaries": The CASA Distinguished Lecture with Yasemin Acar on 7 October took place as part of the campaign.

The ECSM is hosted by the European Union Agency for Network and Information Security (ENISA), the European Commission DG CONNECT and their partners.
