Research Hub 6 investigates how misuse, misinformation, legal uncertainty, and growing system complexity affect societal trust in emerging technologies.

The hub develops safeguards to limit misuse, aligns technical security mechanisms with societal expectations of trust, and advances secure-by-design AI and XR systems. Its goal is to enable the responsible, trustworthy deployment of emerging technologies for the benefit of society.
