Postdoc Program

CASA Jump.Start Program for Postdocs


As part of our Postdoc Jump.Start Program, we are permanently looking for excellent postdoctoral candidates with an outstanding track record in computer science, electrical engineering, mathematics, and psychology (preferably with a relationship to technology) or related disciplines. The position allows participating postdocs to work on their own research agenda.

CASA places particular emphasis on promoting postdoctoral researchers working in cybersecurity, ensuring that they are well-prepared and can make informed decisions about their future careers. Capacity Building and Career Development


CASA Workshops


CASA Early Career Researchers can participate in a broad range of workshops within the PhD program. Typically, 2–3 workshops are offered per semester, covering areas such as outreach, technical training, and soft skills. In collaboration with the ECRs and the ECR Board, workshop topics and formats are proposed, discussed, and selected.

 

RUB Research School

The RUB Research School offers dedicated training modules for postdoctoral researchers, including workshops on proposal writing and leading international teams. It also offers courses on preparing for an international scientific career and for job interviews.
