Cross-Disciplinary Projects

Everything you need to know about Cross-Disciplinary Projects.

In order to ensure that interdisciplinary research becomes in fact an integral part of CASA, every doctoral researcher will be encouraged to spend six weeks researching in the group of a further CASA Principal Investigators. During the project, she/he will work on a problem that is relevant to the dissertation research and involves the CASA Principal Investigators expertise. A secondary objective of the cross-disciplinary project is to enhance collaboration within CASA in general; we expect joint publications to become common place as a result of the technical and social connections established during the cross-disciplinary project phase.

To ensure that your project is an interdisciplinary collaboration, we kindly ask you to fill out the form below. Based on this information, the Dean of the CASA Graduate School will review the content and will then approve the project or will contact you if there are any questions. This ensures the quality and simplifies the process.

Once you have received approval, you can officially start the project.
