Successful start for online CASA Distinguished Lectures in with Joan Daemen

Further lectures by top-class scientists will follow in the next weeks

It was a successful start: With top researcher Joan Daemen from Radboud University Nijmegen as guest speaker, the first online edition of the CASA Distinguished Lectures attracted numerous guests to the webinar. The interesting lecture by the cryptologist was followed by a lively and exciting discussion, which showed that scientific discourse can also function digitally. (Watch online here)

Due to the current situation around the COVID-19 epidemic, all CASA Distinguished Lectures are held online - and are therefore accessible for interested people all over the world.

In this format we welcome selected international and national scientists at the HGI. The lectures of these excellent guest speakers, usually lasting one hour, are always followed by a discussion with the participants. In this way, we would like to realize our goal of stimulating a lively exchange of ideas within cyber security research and opening up new perspectives.

The access link to the respective event is shared among the information on the speakers. On our YouTube channel you can also view some of our Distinguished Lectures in full length at any time.
